Conceived as a focused offshoot of Art Jakarta, this dedicated fair places the spotlight on paper as a primary artistic medium, challenging long-held assumptions about its fragility and positioning it firmly within the contemporary market.

From drawings, prints, and works on paper to sculptures and installations that push material boundaries, Art Jakarta Papers offers a nuanced exploration of how artists engage with paper today. Rather than treating it as preparatory or secondary, the fair foregrounds paper as a site of experimentation, intimacy, and conceptual rigor. Citra Anindyto “Rally” solo exhibition: Good Karma Photo: Hannah Brigitta On May 24 2024, The Hava Ubud hosted the opening of the 4th solo exhibition of the artist, Rally. Born in Yogya and now living and working in Bali, Citra Anindyto also known as “Rally” showcased 23 artworks in this show titled “Good Karma”. Displayed over 2 floors across the Hotel Lobby and Event Room, the works are vibrant examples of signature “aura” painting technique, each accompanied by an individual narrative which expresses the artist's ideals and strong spirituality. The opening ceremony was attended by well-known Balinese artist, Made Djirna, who delivered a welcoming speech as well as being presented an original painting from Rally. Ms T.
